Shenzhen skyline, the city setting for a privately hosted business programme

Venture capital · Private equity · Portfolio leadership

Shenzhen for investors.
Beyond the pitch.

A private working day for questions beyond the conference agenda. Company perspectives, product context and Eric’s operator view.

The programme in briefPrivate · Paid · Question-led

A defined question. A private day.

The Access Day starts at $2,500 USD per private party of up to 4. One host-approved conversation, city context and a private debrief. Travel and hospitality are separate.

Venture capital

What would change your conviction?

Test the thesis against customers, use cases and adoption. Pair a relevant conversation with what the city shows in public.

A demonstration is not proof of repeat demand. A visit is not technical diligence.

Private equity

What would be useful to an operator?

Examine a portfolio question on distribution, product or cross-border growth. Surface assumptions for the next stage of work.

Context for a business decision, not a valuation or a verified investment case.

Portfolio leadership

What translates across markets?

Examine products, audiences and culture through an operator’s lens. Separate China-specific context from transferable ideas.

Possible relevance is explored, not presented as a proven expansion strategy.
The working methodQuestion → Observation → Conversation → Debrief

Observe. Then test the inference.

A busy store does not establish unit economics. A robot demonstration does not establish commercial deployment. A host’s view is one perspective, not an independently verified market conclusion.

Eric separates what was seen from what still needs evidence. Products, audiences, design and culture add context.

The essentials.

What is a private Shenzhen investor programme?

A paid private programme for a VC, PE or portfolio team. Eric prepares the brief, requests relevant conversations, adds city context and leads a private debrief. No guaranteed deal or company access.

How much does it cost, and when do we pay?

The Access Day starts at $2,500 USD for a private party of up to 4, for 6–8 hours. The Private Programme starts at $4,500 USD for up to 4, over 1–2 days. Transport, meals, hotels, event tickets and other additions are separate. You approve the confirmed programme and final fee in writing before receiving a private Stripe link or invoice.

Can we visit Tencent or UBTECH?

Possibly. UBTECH, Tencent Games and Tencent Music Entertainment are starting points, not confirmed hosts. Every request depends on fit, timing and host agreement. Other companies can be explored.

How is this different from an event tour or chamber programme?

Futurebound is separately commissioned for a defined gap: a business question, relevant perspective or private debrief beyond the existing agenda. If that gap is already covered, no extra programme is needed.

Does Futurebound provide investment advice or due diligence?

No. Futurebound provides programme design, hosting, local business context and individually approved conversations. It does not provide investment recommendations, financial advice, brokerage, valuation, guaranteed introductions or formal commercial, technical, legal or financial due diligence.
